What we collect, and what we do not
This is a short notice because this is a small site. It describes what actually happens, not what a template says usually happens.
What the contact form collects
The form asks for your name, a phone number, the neighborhood or address of the property, how urgent the problem is, and a description of what is happening. Email is optional. That information is sent to Great Heron Plumbing so that somebody can read it and get back to you about the work you are asking about.
It is not used for anything else. It is not sold, and it is not passed to an advertising network or a lead-broker. If you would like what you sent removed, ask and it will be deleted.
Cookies, and the one measurement tool
Two cookies are set. The first, named rs_pass, lasts twenty-four hours and
exists so the site can tell an automated request apart from a person without making you
solve a puzzle. It holds a check value and nothing about you. It is not readable by anyone
else and it is not used for measurement or advertising. The second is the analytics cookie
described next.
This site also uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets a first-party analytics cookie so it can tell one visit from the next and avoid counting the same person twice; that is the only thing it is permitted to store. Advertising storage, ad personalization and ad user data are all set to denied, so nothing here builds an advertising profile of you or follows you to another site. The analytics data is aggregate: how many people read which pages, not who you are.
There are no advertising pixels, no session recording, no lead-identification or visitor-unmasking service, and no cross-site tracking. Nothing on these pages profiles you or follows you elsewhere.
Three third parties are involved in serving the site and each sees the ordinary technical information any web request carries. Pages are hosted on Cloudflare, which also runs the automated-traffic check described above. Google receives the analytics page views. The service-area map is a Google Maps embed, so loading a page containing the map involves a further request to Google. If you would rather not make that request, the same service-area information is written out in text on every neighborhood page.
Getting in touch about this
Ask on (239) 404-8590, or use the contact form and say what you need.
Last updated 4 August 2026, when analytics was added and the cookie set at the edge was disclosed. This notice describes the site as it is actually built and is rewritten when that changes.
